Singapore Road Safety Awards 2026
Call for Participation
The Singapore Road Safety Council invites organisations and individuals to participate in the Singapore Road Safety Awards 2026.
The Singapore Road Safety Awards recognises companies and drivers or riders who have demonstrated exemplary commitment and excellence in promoting road safety within their operations and the wider community. The Awards aim to encourage continuous improvement in safety management systems, responsible driving behaviour and the adoption of best practices across industries.
Road safety is a shared responsibility. Through this national platform, organisations can benchmark their safety performance, showcase initiatives and reinforce leadership commitment towards building a strong safety culture. Participation also provides an opportunity to learn from industry peers and contribute to safer roads in Singapore.

Award Categories
Company Awards
For companies managing a fleet of at least 20 vehicles.
Categories include:
∙ Light Goods Vehicle Fleet (vehicles up to 3.5 metric tonnes)
∙ Heavy Goods Vehicle Fleet (vehicles above 3.5 metric tonnes)
∙ Public Bus Fleet
∙ Non-Public Bus Fleet (12-seaters and above)
∙ Point-to-Point Transport Services Fleet
∙ Motorcycle Fleet
Safe Driver / Rider Awards
Recognises individual drivers and riders with exemplary safety records.
Eligibility Criteria
Company Awards
To qualify, companies must:
∙ Operate 20 or more vehicles, whether owned or hired.
∙ Have no fatal accident record during the assessment year.
∙ Demonstrate effective safety systems, training and commitment to accident-free
operations during the assessment period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December
2025.
The following vehicles are excluded:
∙ Road tax exempted vehicles.
∙ Trailers (non-motorised).
∙ Motor vehicles owned by Government and Statutory Boards.
Participating companies will be assessed on:
∙ Management’s commitment to road safety
∙ Operation and control management
∙ Drivers or motorcyclists training and awareness
∙ Compliance with regulatory requirements
∙ Traffic Police and Land Transport Authority violations
Safe Driver / Rider Awards
∙ Company must own at least 20 vehicles of the
nominated driver category.
∙ Nominated drivers or riders must have been employed with the company
for at least two years and maintained a clean record with no accidents
or violations during the assessment period.
∙ Up to three nominations per category, and up to five nominations for
Public Bus and Point-to-Point Transport companies.
∙ Drivers must not have won any Singapore Road Safety Awards in the past
five years.
Key Dates
∙ Assessment Period: 1 January 2025 to 31 December
2025
∙ Application Deadline: 30 April 2026, 5 pm
∙ Results Announcement: September 2026
